Nollaig Shona Daoibh and Happy Christmas!🎄

It’s that time of the year again! The most wonderful time of the year! (well, almost!)

If you’re anything like me, you’re scouring the internet for little gifts of love. Don’t worry, I’ve got a few super random ideas up my sleeve, across a very broad budget. (I’m talking $3 – $50, people. I’m not one to break the bank, because I believe gifts should come from the heart, not the hip pocket!)

Here are ten ideas I found online, curated for your favourite bookworm:

These cute little badges would make an easy stocking filler

Cute as a standalone gift or you could attach them to a new blazer for added pizzazz

Earring bookstacks?!
Um, yes please!

For your favourite bibliophile, bookstagrammer, teacher, writer or librarian, perhaps?

Spark up the kitchen witch within with a magical cookbook!

Something a little bit different for all those Potterheads out there. You know the ones. They have all the official merch and love to get their cauldrons out in the kitchen. This is the gift for them.

Turn your bookshelf into a mini streetscape with these amazing bookends.

Personally, I just love this idea.

It’s one thing to imagine a magical world within a book, but it’s another thing entirely to see it all lit up on your bookshelf at night 😍

Just imagine the characters slipping from between the pages, wandering the shelf and the shops!

Book lights for the nighttime binge reader.

Say goodbye to those annoying tiny clip-on ones. They are so unsatisfying. But these babies?! Oh yeah! Sleek, modern and with more than one bulb to actually light the page.

A ‘Book Crate‘ or ‘Book Box’ subscription will give an experience, as well as a gift

OH MY GOSH!
I didn’t even know this existed, but now that I do, I hope I get one for Christmas! There are SO many different versions available, but this ‘Read, Relax and Recharge’ package by Introverts Retreat gave me anticipatory chills.

A funky tie for a funky guy
(or gal)

When I was at University, my favourite Lecturer had THE BEST collection of ties. I swear, he must have had one for every day of the year. They were endlessly fascinating and ever since, I’ve been a sucker for a themed necktie. I think we all know someone quirky and cool enough to pull this look off.

A Book Worm soy candle will make reading a SCENTuous experience

(Puns are cool, ok?) These candles are for the reader who romanticises the flickering of a flame, enjoys a good bath, or just a nice scent in the air.

I have yet to meet an avid reader who would turn down a candle.

How about a literature-based board game?

No matter what kind of books you’re into, there’s probably a card game or board game based on it. Why not have a search around the internet for something you can play over the holidays? I personally enjoy the 221B Baker Street board game, a Holmesian detective game which is similar to Cluedo. If you’re into deduction and observation, I’d also recommend Sherlock, a memory card game the whole family can enjoy 😊

Books, books and more books!… Or maybe a desk organiser that LOOKS like more books

It’s pretty. It’s functional. AND it has that hidden compartment at the bottom! Perfect for the person who wants to surround themselves with books, but still needs practicality and organisation in their lives.

And if you know someone who is SO into literature, they would literally love nothing more than to wrap themselves up in a good book, then THIS is the gift for you.

Lithographs will print the entire book, yes, THE ENTIRE BOOK onto t-shirts, scarves, tote bags, blankets, puzzles, pillows… The list goes on! The ones pictured here are The Great Gatsby, but you can filter by book, author, genre or product.

What else do book lovers love? Well, the gift of time well spent is something that I will always treasure.

How about you invest a little time in creating a book date voucher! Promise your bookworm some quality time- just the two of you, a good coffee and a long browse 😍

But honestly, though, book lovers LOVE BOOKS. So if you’re still stuck for ideas, how about an Audible subscription top-up, or a card/voucher to the local bookstore?

And there you have it. THIRTEEN pretty random, but kind of freaking awesome bookish gift ideas for your beloved bibliophile! 🎁📚💗

Good luck shopping and Merry Christmas!!
