THE WRITE WAY FOR LOVE

Intimacy can be awkward … but someone’s gotta write about it.

Samuel Harthrup — AKA romance novelist Sammie Hart — has lost his mojo. His MasterChef-inspired smash-hit Heat in the Kitchen left readers voracious for a sequel, but Sam’s muse ran off with a hulking, tattooed biker, and his new manuscript is more fizzle than sizzle. Sam needs help – a special ingredient to inspire the racy scenes his editor (and career) demands.

When the circus rolls into the small town of Moonshine, Sam stumbles upon Anita Fortuna, a psychic who firmly believes that wishing upon a star will make your dreams come true. Together, they resolve to whip his manuscript into shape, and succumbing to personal temptations is not an option – no matter how enticing the offer might be.

On a deadline, and with Sam’s career at stake, can Sam and Anita find the write way for romance, define their own stories, and discover whether words are enough? Or is the whole deal a recipe for disaster?

Dear Reader

While this story is intended to be a romantic comedy, usually soft and fluffy by the mere nature of the genre, it does contain some potentially sensitive topics you should probably be aware of.

Please be advised that the story The Write Way For Love contains:

Instances of family violence and bullying (on and off page), crude humour and language (AKA Australian English), and clowns.

Also ‘open door’ scenes, sexualised talk, and the word ‘moist’.

It was good to get sucked into reading again for a bit.

Excellent writing. I love that your stuff doesn’t beat around the bush, or over complicate, or over describe. It’s straight to the point, clear and clever scene setting, it’s so easy to get wrapped up in and read 😍

Well I freaking loved it! A fun flirty story for a rainy day or holiday.

I found the characters engaging enough that I was thinking about them when I wasn’t reading it, which is something I think all good books need (and I’ve read some “best sellers” that didn’t have that).

I love the town and the community you’ve built. I think it’ll be great to get to know it better as the series goes on.

I recently had the pleasure of reading Brooklyn Dean’s novella ‘Meet Me in Moonshine’ and I must say, I loved it!

I enjoyed the thrill of trying to work out who the mystery man was and the characters that make Moonshine a special place to be. I can’t wait until the next book in the series is published!

Brooklyn Dean is a brilliant and talented writer and I’m lucky enough to have read all her works so far.
